CRDI joins European Consortium to Develop Innovative Clinical Trials Curriculum

CRDI is delighted to be part of a new Erasmus+ funded programme with European partners: The Curriculum Development of Human Clinical Trials for the Next Generation Biomedical Students (CONSCIOUS).

CONSCIOUS intends to tackle the skills gaps and mismatches related to European-level Clinical Trial Professionals through curriculum development and preparation of e-learning material for the career development of biomedical (medical, pharmacy, clinical research master) students.

The European Partners include:

  • University of Pécs (Coordination Lead – Hungary)
  • Masaryk University (Czech Republic)
  • University of Nova De Usboa (Portugal)
  • University of Paris-Diderot (France)
  • Clinical Research Development Ireland (CRDI) (Ireland)
  • European Clinical Research Infrastructure Network (ECRIN) – Associated Partner

The CONSCIOUS project  will provide open education and innovative practise in a digital area by making e-Learning material available for the Next Generation Biomedical Students regardless of where they live in the world.

CRDI will bring to the project its broad experience in developing and delivering innovative collaborative education programmes, including PhD programmes for scientists and clinicians (Further information at https://www.crdi.ie/phd-programmes/), as well as its expertise in developing and delivering e-Learning materials (Further information at https://www.crdi.ie/resources/elearning/).
