Date: 10 – 13 december 2018
Venue: UCD Conway Institute / UCD O’Brien Centre for Science
Target Audience: Relevant to scientists in academia and industry who use, or want to use, flow cytometry to underpin their research.
Aim: Enhance experimentation strategies by developing high standards of practice, exploring new applications and employing contemporary methods using cutting-edge instrumentation.
Our major goal is to promote high standards in flow cytometry practice and support the development of applications. This module is designed for scientists who wish to critically understand the principles, practice and applications of flow cytometry; appreciate the complexity of flow, be able to design flow experiments; and become competent and independent users of this technology and its tools.
This 4 day programme will comprise seminars and practical sessions using several instruments and remote sites. The practical portion will reinforce the concepts of the morning lectures. Beckman Coulter and Labplan will be involved in the programme delivery and will provide current information of the latest instruments and reagents available.
